We are a national association of professional counsellors and trainers joined together by the PROCARE business concept to ensure psycho-social services of the highest standard. The PROCARE business concept offers an opportunity to private practitioners in the psycho-social field to render their services in association with each other and thereby enjoying the market advantage of a large multi-skilled competitive identity. This means we all take responsibility for our services and we all benefit from our efforts. We believe that this gives us the "diverse expertise, dedication and the dynamic approach" that has made us so successful over the years. Our flexible, service orientated and "hands-on" approach distinguishes us from most of our competitors.
We believe that all peopleshould be treated alike and fairly, regardless of sex, race, political convictions, religious convictions, sexual orientation, marital status or age; must be dealt with in a non-judgemental manner with warmth and empathy and; can benefit from professional psycho-social services to improve their quality of life and productivity.
We believe that we can make a difference if we
- render services in a knowledgeable and professional manner;
- maintain high standards;
- manifest integrity and;
- emphasise and respect people's worth.
We embrace the spirit of the Constitution, which emphasises the equal and fair treatment of all people regardless of differences such as race, gender, sexual orientation, culture and beliefs. One of our main objectives is to empower women as private practitioners.
We render services to all people, regardless of sex, race, political convictions, religious convictions, sexual orientation, marital status or age. We render psycho-social services to the private sector and to any person or institution that can pay for the service. We also render psycho-social services to state and semi-state institutions that wish to purchase our services If anybody comes to us for assistance but cannot afford our services, we undertake to refer the parties involved to an available welfare organisation or other resource / service provider. We follow a multi-cultural and multi-professional team approach in the rendering of psycho-social services.
We charge fees in accordance with the recommended tariff structure for private practitioners in the psycho-social field. All our services can be rendered on an ad-hoc basis. We also offer comprehensive and cost-effective services for Companies, Organisations and Educational Institutions on a contract basis.
