Our Little Miracle Baby
Our Journey to become parents was not an easy one and it took a few years before considering adoption due to all the questions, concerns, worries and anxiety surrounding the whole process and the aftermath of adoption.
We approached PROCARE as a result of positive word of mouth by a family member and can honestly confirm that from the day we had our first interview with PROCARE, we were made to feel at ease and comfortable about the process, legalities and post adoption. All our questions were answered with patience and positivity and throughout the whole process, never made to feel that any concern was an issue. Our amazing social worker guided us with so much care and patience while management provided all necessary information on what to expect with timelines with professional diligence. Thank you to PROCARE and the amazing support and friendly staff for going on this journey with us.
We were informed that there was a long waiting period and decided to continue to enjoy life with travels and experiences before baby arrived, so you can imagine how shocked we were when we finally received the call ahead of expected timeline that our little baby girl was waiting.
We were excited but also nervous at the same time as in a matter of 2 weeks, we were parents. Everything happened so fast and despite us not being physically prepared with baby items or a decorated room, we had the most supported family that gathered so many basics for us and helped us setup a comfortable environment with essentials for baby’s arrival. Will she love us immediately, will she take to the whole transition, will she take to our lifestyle, will she sleep right through the night or be restless and will she be happy. After placement, we could not believe how our little baby girl adapted so well, she made it easy for us to be new parents and just like that, all our worries were out of the window.
We just celebrated our baby girl’s first birthday, and we cannot boast enough of how this miracle baby changed our lives in the most beautiful way with her sweet nature, adorable laugh, happy smiles, fun filled moments, friendly persona, and blessings of sleeping right through the night every night. WINNING! We literally want to munch her cute cheeks everyday but bottom line; we just want her to be happy and know that we will always be there for her.
