Manager Referral Options

The difference between Formal and Informal Manager Referrals:

 

Informal referrals are made by Managers out of concern for an Employee's well-being, focusing on preventing or addressing specific challenges, whether work-related or personal. The Manager can request confirmation that an appointment has been made but will not receive any other feedback.

 

Formal referrals are initiated by Managers based on work-related challenges or performance issues. These referrals can form part of or lead up to a disciplinary process and typically address concerns impacting performance or attendance. A Feedback Report can be requested but will exclude irrelevant personal information.
